Flames' Matthew Tkachuk: Likely to ride pine Saturday

Tkachuk is expected to be a healthy scratch for Saturday night's game against the Blues, TSN's Jermain Franklin reports.

Tkachuk has gotten off to a slow start to the 2016-17 campaign -- one goal represents his lone point in five contests -- but we recommend practicing patience with the talented rookie. He has the pedigree as the son of Keith Tkachuk, who's been the subject of many a Hall of Fame conversation, and made scouts salivate as the result of his dropping 107 points in 57 games with OHL London last season, not to mention 40 more combined goals and assists in the playoffs.
