Red Wings' Darren Helm: Puts nail in coffin Friday

Helm sealed the win Friday with an empty-net, power-play tally against the Predators.

Analysis:

With the uncontested goal Friday, Helm became the team leader in that category with four markers in five games. A few of Detroit's stars have gotten off to a slow start -- including Henrik Zetterberg and Dylan Larkin -- but Helm has picked up the slack, centering the third line with Gustav Nyquist and Thomas Vanek as his linemates. Typically, as a fantasy owner, you'd want to stay away from players skating outside of the top six, but the Wings are strong offensively from the first line all the way down to the fourth unit.
