Avalanche's Semyon Varlamov: Will start Saturday against Florida

Varlamov will be in the crease for Saturday's game against the Panthers, Mike Chambers of the Denver Post reports.

Analysis:

The 28-year-old posted a shutout in his last start after having a pair of rough appearances to start the year (eight goals allowed). Varlamov will take on a Panthers squad missing a couple key forwards in Nick Bjugstad (hand) and Jonathan Huberdeau (Achilles).
