Stars' Patrick Eaves: Questionable against Blue Jackets

Eaves' status for Saturday's matchup with Columbus is up in the air due to a lower-body injury.

Analysis:

Eaves' absence would be a huge blow to the already hobbled Stars. Fortunately it appears they will get Ales Hemsky (groin) back, and Hemsky will probably slot into Eaves' spot on the top unit if he is unable to go. Eaves notched four assists in the first two games of the year, but has been relatively quiet since. Look for an update prior to puck drop Saturday.
