Stars' Patrick Sharp: Ruled out Saturday

Sharp (concussion) will not play Saturday against the Blue Jackets.

Analysis:

Sharp is just the latest member of the Stars to be sidelined due to injury, but perhaps comes as the biggest blow to the team's offensive abilities. Although he has just one assist through the first four games, the winger is certainly capable of registering his fourth consecutive season with 40-plus points. The veteran has not been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup with the Jets, but with concussion timelines notoriously difficult to pin down, owners may want to plan for more than a one-game absence.
