Penguins' Olli Maatta: Leaves Thursday's game early
Maatta left in the second period of Thursday's game with an undisclosed injury and didn't return, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.
Analysis:
Pens coach Mike Sullivan did not provide an update following the game. Maatta skated just over 10 minutes (10:05) before leaving. He's gotten off to a slow start in 2016-17. Pittsburgh dropped him to its fifth defender -- he skated with Derrick Pouliot as part of a third pairing.
