Stars' Kari Lehtonen: Under heavy fire in overtime loss

Lehtonen stopped 35 of 39 shots, but still took a 4-3 loss to the Kings in overtime Thursday.

Analysis:

After opening with a pair of one-goal outings, Lehtonen may have been due some regression to the mean. The Kings outshot Dallas by a ridiculous 39-20 tally, so it's a credit to Lehtonen that he was able to get his team to overtime and secure a point with the ice tilted so noticeably in the other direction. Still, we may see the Stars turn back to Antti Niemi when the Jackets come to town Saturday.
