Analysis:

Luongo came in with a 2-0-0 record, 0.98 GAA and .957 save percentage, but was thoroughly outplayed by Capitals counterpart Braden Holtby. Nonetheless, the 37-year-old veteran should continue to be a strong option in net for a rising Panthers team coming off a playoff appearance. A fourth straight season with a sub-2.50 GAA and save percentage over .920 is a distinct possibility for Luongo.
