Blackhawks' Marian Hossa: Out Friday

Hossa (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup for Friday's game against the Blue Jackets, Tracey Myers of CSN Chicago reports.

Analysis:

Hossa hasn't practiced since he left Tuesday's game against Philadelphia with an undisclosed injury, so this news doesn't come as much of a surprise. Richard Panik will replace Hossa at right wing on Chicago's first line Friday against Columbus, with Tyler Motte slotting into Panik's usual spot at left wing on the Blackhawks' top line for the contest. Hossa's status for Saturday's game against Toronto appears iffy at best at this juncture.
