Jets' Michael Hutchinson: Overcomes shaky start in winning effort

Hutchinson saved 36 of 40 shots in an overtime win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday.

Analysis:

After giving up the game's first four goals, Hutchinson managed to stop the bleeding and allow the Winnipeg offense to make a triumphant comeback. In particular, Hutchinson made a timely breakaway save in overtime right before Patrik Laine scored the game-winning goal. Still, Hutchinson has allowed four goals in both of his starts this season and owns an underwhelming .887 save percentage. He may maintain a near 50-50 timeshare in the crease for the short term, but he'll likely have a difficult time holding off Connor Hellebuyck for too long.
