Senators' Zack Smith: More opportunity equals continued success

Smith scored a shorthanded goal and added two PIM during Tuesday's 7-4 win over Arizona.

In case it isn't obvious by now, Smith thoroughly enjoys increased opportunity. The winger has stepped up in the absence of Clarke MacArthur (concussion), much as he did for last season's 25-goal surprise. The 28-year-old has equaled teammate Bobby Ryan's production so far -- two goals and an assist -- and is showing no signs of slowing down.
