Coyotes' Mike Smith: Exits Tuesday's contest

Smith left Tuesday's matchup against the Senators with a lower-body injury and did not return, Sarah McLellan of The Arizona Republic reports.

Analysis:

Smith did not put any weight on one of his legs as he was being helped off the ice, so it appears he may have suffered a significant injury. Prior to leaving the contest, the 34-year-old netminder had allowed three goals on 30 shots. He was replaced in net by Louis Domingue.
