Senators' Matt Puempel: Healthy scratch Tuesday

Puempel will sit out Tuesday's matchup with Arizona as a healthy scratch, Steve Lloyd of TSN reports.

Analysis:

Coach Guy Boucher is opting for seven defensemen and 11 forwards, so blueliner Thomas Chabot is suiting up in Puempel's place. In his lone appearance this season, Puempel went minus-1 and registered one hit in 8:59 of ice time, so it should come as no surprise that he's the odd man out against the Coyotes.
