Panthers' James Reimer: Making Panthers debut Tuesday

Reimer will start between the pipes Tuesday against the Lightning, Harvey Fialkov of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Reimer has split duties in goal for much of his career, but the move to Florida may decrease his activity behind Roberto Luongo. He may see more starts than your typical backup given Luongo's advanced age (37), but Reimer will still play a clear second fiddle this season. His first opportunity comes Tuesday against a high-powered Lightning attack.
