Senators' Mike Hoffman: Remains scoreless following loss to Detroit

Hoffman failed to register a point against Detroit on Monday.

Analysis:

After posting a 59-point season last year, Hoffman's slow start to 2016-17 is disappointing. He owns all the offensive abilities to turn the tide in a hurry, though, so remain patient. He has 12 shots already, and given his 12.7 shooting percentage over the two prior seasons, it is likely Hoffman will make his mark in the goal and point columns sooner than later.
