Canucks' Jacob Markstrom: Escapes with win despite poor play

Markstrom allowed three goals on 22 shots but came away with a 4-3 overtime win over the Hurricanes on Sunday.

By 5:28 into the second period, the Canucks had staked the Hurricanes to a three-goal lead before storming back with four unanswered goals to earn their second victory in as many nights. Markstrom wasn't great, but owners of the backup netminder will take the victory nonetheless. Vancouver has another back-to-back set next weekend, so we'd expect to see the 26-year-old Swede at least once between now and next Sunday.
