Bruins' Tuukka Rask: Could return to net Monday

When asked whether he expected Rask (unspecified soreness) to be ready for Monday's game against the Jets, coach Claude Julien noted "my intuition would be yes, but we have to take it day by day."

Analysis:

We should have a better idea of Rask's status for Monday's contest after the B's pre-game skate, though on the plus side, Julien's comment seems to infer that whatever is ailing the goalie is not thought to be a long-term concern. Meanwhile, Joe Haggerty CSN New England relays that Rask appeared to tweak "something in his leg while extending to make a save" Thursday against Columbus. If Rask is unable to go Monday, Anton Khudobin would be in line for another start in net for the Bruins.
