Stars' Jamie Benn: Nets first of season against Avalanche

Benn scored his first goal of the season and added an assist in Saturday's loss to Colorado.

It was a strong night for Benn, who also dished out four hits and logged 21:06 of ice time. He picked up a helper in the season opener and built on that in the second game of the season. The 27-year-old scored a career-high 41 goals last season and forms a dynamic duo with Tyler Seguin on the first line and top power-play unit.
