Canucks' Ryan Miller: Grabs victory in season debut
Miller stopped all 25 shots in a 2-1 shootout victory over the Flames on Saturday.
Analysis:
Miller actually didn't actually allow a goal in this one, as the single tally on the board for the Flames came on a first-period gaffe by new Canuck Loui Eriksson who accidentally shot the puck into his own net with Miller pulled for a delayed penalty. Nonetheless, it was a great season debut for the American netminder, who will be looking to improve upon his numbers (17-24-9, .916 save percentage, 2.70 GAA) in his third full campaign in Vancouver.
