Predators' Pekka Rinne: Overcomes shaky first period for win

Rinne allowed two goals on five shots during the first period of Friday's game against Chicago, but he rebounded and saved all 19 shots he faced in the second and third periods to register the win.

Analysis:

Rinne dipped to a career-low .908 save percentage last season and allowed more goals (161) than any goaltender in the league. Playing in the Central Division isn't a cakewalk, either. While it was encouraging to see Rinne bounce back from a rough start and hold off Chicago on Friday, his best days are likely in the rear-view mirror.
