Canadiens' Tomas Plekanec: Quiet night in season opener

Plekanec did not register a shot in 18:05 of ice time in Montreal's 4-1 win over Buffalo on Thursday.

Analysis:

Plekanec is adjusting to new linemates -- Alexander Radulov on right wing and rookie Artturi Lehkonen on the left -- as the trio were held off the scoresheet Thursday. The line did, however, lead Montreal with six shots -- Lehkonen had a team-high five shots while Radulov had one. In due time, Plekanec will be using his playmaking ability to get assists.
