Blues' Vladimir Tarasenko: Starts out campaign with fireworks

Tarasenko lit the lamp twice -- once on the power play -- and added an assist on the man advantage during Wednesday's 5-2 victory against Chicago.

Analysis:

The Russian sniper wasted no time reaching the box score, launching towards Corey Crawford relentlessly throughout Opening Night (five shots to lead the team). The 24-year-old is fresh off a 40-goal campaign, and if Wednesday's performance is a glimpse of what's to come, the 2010 No. 1 pick could push for 50 tallies in just his fifth year. Tarasenko is one of the most lethal wingers with the puck and remains a must-watch when he takes the ice.
