Hurricanes' Justin Faulk: Held off practice rink Saturday

Faulk (lower body) did not skate Saturday morning.

Analysis:

Faulk was forced out of Friday's preseason game against the Capitals upon sustaining the injury to his lower body. He's bound to undergo further evaluation in an attempt to prepare for the season opener versus the Jets on Oct. 13.
