Kings' Jeff Zatkoff: Set to open season as backup goalie

Zatkoff is set to open the season as LA's backup netminder.

Zatkoff figures to be exposed in next year's expansion draft after inking a two-year deal over the offseason, as he starts 2016-17 as Jonathan Quick's backup in LA. At 29, he's seen action in only 35 NHL games (29 starts), posting roughly league-average ratios, but he won't see the ice much, as Quick doesn't need a rest too often.
