Stars' Tyler Seguin: Resumes skating Tuesday

Seguin (heel) is back skating following a hairline fracture in his heel that forced him out of the World Cup.

Analysis:

Seguin's status for Opening Night remains unclear, but he appears to be progressing. The center figures to be a major contributor to the Stars' high-powered offense on the top line alongside Jamie Benn and Patrick Sharp. If the 24-year-old does miss time, Jason Spezza will replace him down the middle.
