Red Wings' Petr Mrazek: To play entire game in exhibition debut Sunday
Mrazek is scheduled to go the distance in his preseason debut against the Blackhawks on Sunday, MLive.com reports.
Analysis:
Mrazek returns to training camp following his participation in the World Cup of Hockey. The 24-year-old backstop crafted a 1-0-1 record, 2.98 GAA and .925 save percentage while representing the Czech Republic on the international stage. Mrazek will enter the 2016-17 campaign as the No. 1 option between the pipes, though coach Jeff Blashill has the luxury of plugging in veteran Jimmy Howard should the younger goalie struggle out of the gate.
