Predators' Frederic Allard: Inks entry-level contract

Allard signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Nashville on Friday.

Analysis:

Allard, a product of the QMJHL, was selected by the Predators in the third round of the 2016 NHL Draft. The 18-year-old will likely spend the 2016-17 campaign with his junior squad, the Chicoutimi Sagueneens, in order to further develop his game. Fantasy owners in dynasty leagues may want to keep an eye on the offensive-minded defender as he nearly averaged a point per game last season.
