Flyers' T.J. Brennan: Waived for reassignment

Brennan, along with four other players, were waived by the Flyers on Friday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Analysis:

Andy Miele, Chris Conner, Greg Carey and Petr Straka will all join Brennan on assignment to AHL Lehigh Valley unless they are claimed off the waiver wire by another team. The 27-year-old Brennan spent last season with the Maple Leafs where he appeared in seven NHL contests and averaged 15:06 of ice time per night. The blueliner performed significantly better in the minors and was one tally shy of reaching the point-per-game mark. He could offer the most fantasy upside among the waived if called up.
