Sharks' Nikolay Goldobin: Sticks with NHL squad in training camp

Coach Pete DeBoer broke training camp into NHL and AHL squads Wednesday and Goldobin stayed with the NHLers, reports CSN Bay Area.

Analysis:

Goldobin saw 16:25 of ice time in Tuesday's preseason game against Vancouver. The hugely talented prospect grabbed nine games of NHL action last season, registering one goal and one assist. On a deep Sharks roster, he's not poised to have a huge fantasy impact, but he does have the capacity to surprise.
