Penguins' Nick Bonino: Returns to practice Wednesday

Bonino (foot) participated in morning practice Wednesday, but will not suit up for the evening's preseason matchup with Chicago, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Analysis:

Bonino should be ready to go for the start of the season after taking a puck off his foot, something he should be used to given his propensity for getting into shooting lanes to block shots. During the Pens' Stanley Cup run, the center logged 50 blocked shots in addition to his four goals and 18 assists. With Bonuino projected to line up with Carl Hagelin and Phil Kessel once again this year, fantasy owners should get solid production out of the 28-year-old.
