Senators' Derick Brassard: Scores in Senators debut
Brassard lit the lamp during Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sabres in preseason action.
Analysis:
Brassard came over from the Rangers in a swap for Mika Zibanejad in the offseason, a move that solidified Ottawa's desire to win now. The 29-year-old looked comfortable next to Zack Smith and Bobby Ryan, which could be the starting second line with Clarke MacArthur (concussion) out for the foreseeable future. The 2006 No. 6 pick should have no problems fitting in with his new team.
