Red Wings' Ben Street: Set to return from chest injury

Street (chest) will be in the lineup Tuesday night for an exhibition game against the Penguins, Ted Kulfan of The Detroit News reports.

Analysis:

Street only managed to play in seven games with the Avalanche last season, as he had commonly ridden the pine and sustained a chest injury that wiped out most of his campaign. He'll start the new campaign in the minors and serve as an emergency replacement for the Wings, a team well equipped with quality forwards.
