Canadiens' Alex Galchenyuk: Will be top line center

Galchenyuk will center Montreal's top line with Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher the forwards, Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette reports.

Montreal head coach Michel Therrien confirmed this news at the team's annual golf tournament Tuesday, but it was something we thought might happen given how well Galchenyuk finished last season as the top line's center. The placement on the top line with Montreal's most dangerous scorers puts Galchenyuk in position to repeat as a 30-goal scorer in 2016-17.
