Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist: Falls in overtime to North America on Wednesday

Lundqvist allowed four goals on 40 shots in a 4-3 overtime loss to Team North America on Wednesday.

Analysis:

One game removed from a 29-save shutout against Team Finland, Lundqvist was under siege for most of the afternoon against the North American youngsters in what ended in a wild 3-on-3 overtime frame that could have gone either way. Despite missing out on his second "w" of the tournament, the overtime loss still earned Sweden a point, thus sending them to the semifinals as the winner of Group B. Jacob Markstrom beat Russia earlier in the week when Lundqvist was unavailable, but given his winning track record and experience on the international stage, we'd expect to see Lundqvist between the pipes again in the semifinals against Team Europe on Sunday.
