Red Wings' Henrik Zetterberg: Activity limited during training camp

Zetterberg (knee) will likely be limited during Red Wings' training camp, Kyle Kujawa of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

It's probable the veteran left winger's activity will be curbed for the rest of training camp and preseason as he continues to recover from a knee injury suffered earlier this month. He'll presumably participate in off-ice sessions until team doctors clear him for a higher intensity regimen. His return date, which is currently slated for mid-October, puts the 35-year-old Red Wings' captain in line to return at some point in the first several weeks of the NHL season.
