Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Will be back-up against Team Sweden

Hellebuyck will serve as the back-up for John Gibson for Wednesday's matchup against Team Sweden, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Hellebuyck will suit up for his first World Cup match due to an injury to Matt Murray (thumb). While being part of the tournament is no doubt an honor, the Michigan-native will certainly be itching to get back to training camp as he is on the outside looking in for a role with the Jets this season. Given the uncertainty at the position for Winnipeg, a strong showing by the 23-year-old could see him land anywhere from the starter to playing in the AHL, making him a risky fantasy option.
