Bruins' Brad Marchand: Standout for Canada in World Cup opener

Marchand notched a goal and two assists in Team Canada's win over the Czech Republic at the World Cup on Saturday.

Analysis:

This was quite the start to the tournament for the top line of Sidney Crosby, Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron, who combined for three goals and seven points in the win. Marchand is a consistent 20-plus goal scorer in the NHL and now that he's on the world stage, fans are starting to see just how talented the 28-year-old really is. Marchand should continue to pile up strong numbers on Team Canada's deadly top line with Crosby.
