Ducks' Hampus Lindholm: Added to Sweden's World Cup squad

Lindholm will replace the injured Niklas Kronwall (knee) on Sweden's roster for the World Cup of Hockey, Stephen Whyno of AP Sports reports.

Analysis:

Some may argue this is an upgrade for Sweden, as Lindholm has put together three solid NHL seasons and injects some additional youth on the blue line. Thus far in his career, the 22-year-old has reached the 25-point mark every year and played no less than 78 games. Looking ahead to the 2016-17 campaign, fantasy owners can likely expect much of the same from the defenseman, which includes averaging over two minutes per night on the power play.
