Sabres' Evander Kane: Pleads not guilty Monday

Kane pleaded not guilty Monday to charges stemming from a June incident outside a Buffalo area bar, Michael Mroziak of WBFO 88.7 FM reports.

Analysis:

Kane's next hearing will be Sept. 9, with the league unlikely to issue any sort of suspension or fine until after the court system resolves the case in which the 24-year-old is alleged to have grabbed three women and a male bouncer.
