Lightning's Ben Bishop: Should be ready for World Cup
Bishop (ankle) is expected to be cleared in time for the World Cup on Hockey, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reported Wednesday.
Analysis:
Bishop, who was injured during the Eastern Conference Finals, appears to be on track to participate in the World Cup of Hockey, although it remains unclear who will start for Team USA between Bishop, Jonathan Quick and Cory Schneider. Regardless, fantasy owners and fans alike will be thrilled that the 29-year-old can shake off any post-injury rust prior to the start of the 2016-17 campaign.
