Jets' Adam Lowry: Earns two-year extension

Lowry, on Thursday, signed a two-year contract extension with the Jets valued at $1.125 million annually.

Analysis:

Lowry is a bruiser, having collected 187 hits in 74 games last season, his second go-around in the NHL. As a third liner, Lowry hasn't seen a whole lot of ice time -- 14:01 average last season -- which limits what he can do offensively.
