Lightning's Alex Killorn: Files for arbitration

Killorn has filed for arbitration, reports the Tampa Bay Times.

Analysis:

The Bolts tendered him a qualifying offer, but it's probably just 10 percent above his previous contract -- that's all teams are required to do. And Killorn has done enough to deserve a bit bigger raise. Both sides will continue to negotiate until the hearing date, which will be scheduled between July 20 and Aug. 4.
