Islanders' Mikhail Grabovski: Future uncertain

Grabovski (concussion) may not play another game for the Islanders, Arthur Staple of Newsday reports.

Analysis:

Grabovski has now missed significant portions of the last two seasons due to concussions. Even if he reports to training camp in September medically cleared and ready to play, he may have a difficult time cracking the starting lineup and could also be a candidate to be sent to the AHL so that the team could remove his $5 million salary from the cap.
