Jets' Mathieu Perreault: Signed a four-year extension with Winnipeg

Perreault (concussion) finalized a four-year contract extension with the Jets on Thursday.

Analysis:

Perreault's new deal comes with an average annual value of $4.125 million. Although he ended the latest season dealing with concussion symptoms, the center still had a productive year as he tallied nine goals and 32 helpers. The 28-year-old's value is further increased as a member of Winnipeg's power-play unit where he averaged 2:53 in ice time and racked up 15 points.
