Wild's Darcy Kuemper: Pens one-year deal with Minnesota

Kuemper signed a one-year contract worth $1.55 million with the Wild on Tuesday, Michael Russo of the Star Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Kuemper missed the majority of the season due to injury, but even when healthy, was relegated to the end of the bench. In total, the netminder saw action in 21 contests in which he logged a .915 save percentage, including two shutouts, and a 6-7-5 record. Those numbers are pretty on point for what fantasy owners can expect out of the perennial backup next year.
