The Calgary Flames have added size, signing forward Troy Brouwer to a four-year contract, worth $18-million, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie.

Brouwer is coming off his first year with the St. Louis Blues after being acquired from the Washington Capitals in exchange for T.J. Oshie.

The 30-year-old proved to be a reliable depth addition, managing 18 goals and 39 points in all 82 games. However, his value was most felt in the postseason, where he finished second on the team with eight goals while adding five assists in 20 games.
