The Columbus Blue Jackets appear on track for a second buyout in two days.

The club announced Wednesday it was buying out the final two years of defenseman Fedor Tyutin's contract, and it's now in the process of doing the same with Jared Boll, reports Aaron Portzline of The Columbus Post-Dispatch.

Boll has one year remaining on a deal that carries a $1.7-million cap hit. The buyout would free up $1,333,334 in available space for 2016-17, and cost the team $566,666 against the cap in 2017-18, according to General Fanager.

Boll, 30, appeared in only 30 games this past season, recording one goal, two assists, and 61 penalty minutes.
