Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Won't be traded

Penguins' general manager Jim Rutherford says Malkin (elbow) "will not be traded," reports the NHL Network.

Analysis:

Rutherford was blunt in an interview during Round 2 of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft when addressing rumors that were swirling. However, it's interesting to note that he didn't say the same thing about Marc-Andre Fleury.
