Lightning's Ben Bishop: Will likely be in Tampa when camp opens

Bishop's (ankle) chances of starting the season in Tampa Bay grew Friday night when he wasn't traded during the first round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

Analysis:

A few teams needed goaltending this offseason, but the Leafs solved their issue pre-draft and the Flames picked up Brian Elliott from the Blues on the draft floor. TSN's Bob McKenzie reported on-air during Round 1 that the Flames had been given permission to discuss a potential contract with Bishop's camp, but those talks were never initiated. The goalie market has softened now, so Big Ben will likely be in a Bolts uni come training camp unless murmurs of a deal to the Stars materializes.
