The Boston Bruins selected forward Trent Frederic with the 29th pick at the NHL draft on Friday night.

Frederic goes after enjoying his second season with the U.S. National Development Juniors, picking up four goals and 14 points in 23 games. He also picked up 20 goals and 20 assists in 61 games while with the U.S. National U18 Team.

At 6-foot-2 and 203 pounds, Frederic adds size to the characteristically large Bruins with an offensive flare as his seven points in seven games at the World U18 Championship show.
